Brandon Myers has agreed to sign with the New York Giants.
Myers, 27, signs with the Giants after an explosive season, leading the Oakland Raiders in receiving (79 catches for 806 yards as well as four touchdowns). Myers should fill the void left by Martellus Bennett, who left for the Chicago Bears after his own breakout campaign during the 2012/2013 season.
Since free agency began, the Giants have had interest in Myers. After getting a better idea of the market, the Giants invited Myers to their facilities on Saturday.
Some say Carson Palmer had much to do with Myers' production last season; however, Myers also proved that he is a dependable pass-catching tight end.
Bennett may be a more athletic/dynamic talent than Myers; however, Myers should do well in his new role as a Giant.
