Seahawks TE John Carlson bounced his head off the frozen turf in Soldier Field while leaping to avoid a tackle by Bears safety Danieal Manning; Carlson, a 3rd year player out of Notre Dame, remained motionless on the field while medical staff tended to him.He was carted off the field on a stretcher with his neck immobilized. FOX's Tony Siragusa announced that Carlson had a head injury, he did not elaborate.
Carlson's 2010/2011 Notes: Finished tied for fourth on the Seahawks with 31 reception; last week he caught 3 passes for 17 yards and 2 touchdowns in a game Seattle was not suppose to win, beting the Saints 41-36.
